My fascination with jewelry began over 20 years ago when I took an after school job polishing finished pieces. Eventually I moved from polishing jewelry to creating it. I developed my skills under the watchful eye of a well-respected jeweler in downtown Boston. It was during that apprenticeship that I discovered the extremely satisfying feeling of taking raw materials and crafting them into beautiful unique pieces of jewelry. One reason I love creating individual pieces is that I collaborate with my clients. As a result, each piece of jewelry is representative of their personality and tastes. Before I create a piece, I like to discuss factors such as whether this will be for every day wear or just for special occasions, budgetary concerns, and personal style. I use my GIA education to make the diamond purchasing process as comfortable as possible so that my clients can compare diamonds and make an informed decision. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is helping a client mark a milestone in his or her life such as picking out a diamond for an engagement ring or designing a piece of jewelry to celebrate an anniversary or the birth of a child. I have worked with many clients over the years and maintain the strictest confidentiality. I look forward to meeting with you and helping to make your vision a reality. |
